Inactive Market

A
market in which the volume of sales for the day or other period is small
in comparison with average transactions.
In an inactive stock market, the number of securities dealt in
and number of shares per transaction are small because of lack of public
participation. An inactive
market is usually one in which trading is largely confined to professionals.
