Indicated Yield

Sometimes
used to refer to yields on bonds (either current return or yields to maturity)
and stocks, especially when yield is determined by reference to YIELD
tables. CROP REPORTS also
list indicated yields of crops.
Where
common stocks are not on a REGULAR DIVIDEND basis, the indicated yield
may be figured on DIVIDEND payments "indicated" by current announcements
concerning future dividends or by total paid in the last twelve months.
