A
SUMMARY OF LENDING TERMS
1.Loan AmounT:
Our minimum funding amount is United States Dollars One Million
($1,000,000) and upwards of these amounts.
2.LOAN TERMS:
Loans are usually for a period of three (3) to seven (7) years.
Occasionally we may consider a longer term for a larger development
project, where the generation of income is delayed due to the gestation
period. Each proposal is assessed on its merit and thus offers are
structured accordingly.
3.INTEREST RATE:
The current interest rate is at 5 - 8% for the duration of the loan.
4.INTEREST PAYMENTS:
Interest can be paid yearly or half yearly or tailored to the requirements
of borrower subject to approval.
5.PRINCIPAL
REPAYMENTS:
The principal amount can be repaid at the end of the 3rd to 7th
years period in a one-time bullet repayment. Alternatively, principle
can be repaid on reducing balance or even equal installments. We
can meet special requirements but this is subject to approval.
6.SECURITY:
First and the only charge on all assets of the company and / or
a financial instrument such as a bank guarantee
7.USE OF LOAN:
Loan funds must be used as described in Business plan and not otherwise;
if the Funds are to be used in a different manner due to unforeseen
circumstances then this is to be with our prior permission. Statements
to show utilization of the funds will need to be submitted on regular
intervals.
8.EARLY REDEMPTION
OF PRINCIPAL AMOUNT:
Prepayment penalty at ...% of the total loan amount, unless an agreement
is reached between the parties.
9.AGREEMENT
CHARGES:
The stamp duty and the lawyer fees are dependant upon the loan amount.
In addition to the processing/management charges, the cost of loan
approximates 2% - 2.5%. Costs are deductible and not taken in advance.
10.IDENTIFICATIONS:
Four types of identifications are required from the Borrower, viz.
copy of the passport, driving license, national identity certificate,
if any, utility bills etc.,
